Do a Physical Inventory 
From the Maintenance Menu screen, select the 'Scan Physical Inventory" button. Use your wireless barcode scanner to scan each piece of inventory in your store while the scan inventory window is open. When you have completed scanning all the items in your store, select the match Inventory button to process the scanned file against your inventory file. Next run the variance report to visuall inspect the results of the scan and match functions. When you are ready to adjust your computer inventory to match the physical counts. return to the maintenance menu and select the "Update Scanned Inventory" button. You should use the Finish Session button to suspend the scanning process, and may restart anytime thereafter. Use the Clear Scanned button to clear scanned files before starting a brand new session.
