System Configuration Setup

This resale program is designed to best function with the following hardware configurations....
1. Single PC configuration... Computer running Windows XPPRO, VISTA BUSINESS or WINDOWS7 32 bit versions. Report printer (laser, Inkjet or Dot Matrix) any brand name using 8.5" x 11'" paper. Dedicated 3 1/8" Receipt printer (Epson, Star or any other brand name) Solenoid (RJ11 connection) Cash Drawer directly attached to Receipt printer Two (2) Dedicated Eltron 2722/Zebra 2824 or equivalent Label/Tag printers using 2.25" x 1.25" labels and/or 2.25" x 1.37" Tags. A Hand Scanner attached via keyboard wedge or USB. Optional USB Credit Card swipe unit (MSR). (Used with regular keyboard for Credit Card and Gift Card verification processing)

2. Multi PC configuration... Two (2) or more Personal Computers (PC) running any 32 bit version of Windows 98/XP Pro/VISTA/WIN7 on any Peer to Peer or Client server networked configuration. One (1) Report printer (laser, Inkjet or Dot Matrix) any brand name using 8.5" x 11'" paper attached to the Server or Back-Office PC. One (1) dedicated 3+1/8" Receipt printer (Star, Epson or any other brand name) attached to each Client or Workstation PC.
A Solenoid (RJ11 connection) Cash Drawer directly attached to each Receipt printer. Two (2) Dedicated Zebra LP2824 or equivalent Label/Tag printers using 2.25" x 1.25" labels and/or 2.25" x 1.37" Tags attached to the Server or Back-Office PC. 1 Hand Scanner attached via keyboard wedge, USB or serial connection on optional UNITECH K27242 or equivalent keyboard attached to each Client or Workstation PC.
A USB or Serial Credit Card (MSR) swipe unit for use with regular keyboard for integrated Credit Card and Gift Card verification processing if attached to each Client or Workstation PC.
REPORT, TAG AND LABEL PRINTERS PATH AND NAMES IN YOUR LOCAL COMPUTER SETUP SCREEN MUST MATCH THE NAMES ASSIGNED IN YOUR WINDOWS PRINTER FOLDER. RECEIPT PRINTERS ARE LOCAL TO EACH WORKSTATION OR CLIENT PC AND SHOULD NOT REQUIRE THE SERVER PATH SYNTAX IN THE NAMES.

Examples. Windows Printer Names: Labels on Server Name\Label Printer Name would be

Reports Receipt Printer Name: Receipt
1 Hand scanners must be programmed to use the "TAB-KEY" as the default response instead of "Enter".
2 keyboards with magnetic stripe readers may be used for built-in Credit and Gift Cards swipe/read functionality and may be used instead of a regular keyboard and external card swipe (MSR) unit combo.
