Suspend Transactions

Resale Connection has the ability to suspend "Buy", "Sale" and "Consignment" transactions during any of those functions. Simply select the 'F5 Suspend' button from the screen to initiate Suspends for the current transaction being processed. The window will close and a different transaction or function maybe be processed. Suspended transactions are very useful with "Buys" to allow completion of the transaction when the customer returns to the store.

To resume a suspended "Buy", "Sale" or "Consignment" transaction use the 'F8 Suspended' button at the bottom right of the Browse Vendor/Customer records screen after selecting the Selling, Buying or Consigning button from the main menu window. This will open a suspended transaction window that displays a list of all vendors or customers with suspended transactions. Select the desired Vendor from the list in the window and press the 'F9-Recall Suspended' button on the bottom right of the screen.

The program will restore all the details of the suspended transaction to the window for additional processing or completion. The process is the same for "Buys", "Sales" or "Consignments"
Normal transaction processing options are applicable for a resumed transaction. There is no limit on number of suspended transactions or time in the system before being recalled. Completed suspended transactions will be automatically removed from the system.
