Register Discounts

Resale Connection has four(4) methods to offer discounts at sale time. Line item discount is applied using the Dollar$$ Off button on the POS window. First select the Dollar$$ Off button, choose percentage or amount on the popup Discount window, then scan the barcode or enter the item number of the item to be discounted. Enter discount percent or markdown price then press Enter. Repeat as needed for additional items.

The line item discount window can also be used to repetively apply receipt discounts for preset groups such as "employees", seriors, etc.

For frequent static percent discounts, there are 2 quick discount options available, QDisc and QDisc2. Set the static discount percentages as desired on the maintenance screen /system setup window. To use simply set the checkbox on for the desired discount percent on the POS window before scanning the items. The checkbox will stay on until turned off by the other checkbox being selected, the User or opting to use the "Remove/Return" button.

Full receipt discounts can also be applied at the end of the transaction items. Simply select the "Full Receipt Discount" button before applying the Tender type. Enter the percentage or amount in the popup window. Select Enter to apply discounts and recalculate the taxes. Select the [F10-Complete Trans] button to finish the transaction.
