Mixmatch Sale Transaction

To create a mixmatch group of items for discount processing, do the following...

Select the 'Mix-N-Match' button on the Maintenance menu screen. Use the Insert button to create a new mixmatch record or Change to edit an existing one.

Enter a desired code for the mixmatch. Use any 2 character alphanumeric code. example A1, A2, AA, etc
For example, If you have hair bows that retail for $3.99 each and would like to offer a dollar off when 3 bows are purchased in the same transaction (3 for $10.97) then create the mixmatch record with A1 as the code, 3 as the quantity, $10.97 as the price and the start and end dates.
Find the corresponding item number for the bows in your inventory and set the mixmatch code to A1. You can also edit any other inventory item that sells for $3.99 with the same A1 code to include them in the 3 for $10.97 group.

In subsequent sale transactions, any third occurrence (#3, #6, #9, etc.) of an item from the group will be reduced by $1.00 automatically
