Now Available A fully integrated option to automatically post in real time all checks written in Resale Connection to your QuickBooks application. At the Close of Day in Resale Connection, Journal Entries will also be created and posted automatically to your QuickBooks application. This is a fully integrated feature and not just a spreadsheet export/import function.<



QuickBooks Prerequisites

The following settings and end user actions are required to use the Integrated QuickBooks feature in Resale Connection.

0. Use the following link to download and install the QuickBooks SDK from the quickbooks website... http://developer.intuit.com/uploadedFiles/QuickBooks_SDK/QBSDK/Download/QBFC4_0Installer.exe (The resale connection software upgrade installation file will detect and start the installation of this SDK file if not already on your workstation or server computer) 1. Install QuickBooks Pro 2011 on your server computer.

2. Create 2 Vendor accounts in QuickBooks named 'Sales Tax One' and 'Sales Tax Two'.

3. Assign either or both accounts with your designated tax agency's information.

4. Create a Vendor type in QuickBooks named 'Resale'.

5. Create a Vendor type in QuickBooks named 'Tax agency'.

6. Create the QuickBooks Chart of Accounts for your store operations.


Resale Prerequisites

When the QuickBooks option file is installed with Resale Connection do the following...

1. Open the "System Information" window on the Administration Menu


2. Set the QuickBooks option on.

3. Select the "QuickBooks Setup" Button on the Administration menu to open QuickBooks configuration window.

4. Select the "Create Resale Accounts" button at the top of the window to load the static resale accounts.

5. Select the "Import Accounts from QuickBooks" at the top right corner of the window to load your QuickBooks chart of Accounts into the resale configuration file.

6. Select a desired resale account from the left column; select a QuickBooks account from the list in the right column to which the selected resale account amounts will be debited. 7. Select the "Map Resale Acct to QuickBooks DB Acct" button to complete the mapping.



8. Select a QuickBooks account from the list in the right column to which the selected resale account amounts will be credited.

9. Select the "Map Resale Acct to QuickBooks CR Acct" button to complete the mapping.

10. Repeat steps 6 thru 9 until all your desired resale accounts have been mapped to a debit and credit account.
