Enter Cost Pricing Configuration
The system is designed to automatically calculate individual cost for items being purchased from Vendors and Customers. There are 5 cost percentages that can be preset in the "Cost configuration" box on the system setup window (see below).![]() |
This screen is also used to set other system defaults such as SalesTax Rates, StoreCredit Markup percent, Buyback, Check and Consignment Flags, Receipt and other Messages, etc. |
The percentages are preset in the system with some basic default values and maybe changed to reflect the preferred percentages of the store owner or management.
The system setup window is reached from the "Maintenance Menu" button on the "Main Menu" window. The preset percentages are accessed in the "Buying Inventory" window and used to calculate item cost from entered retail prices.
