Consignment Inventory
Although uniquely designed for the "BUY OUTRIGHT" concept of the resale industry, Resale Connection also boasts the additional functionality of processing consignment vendors, merchandise, markdowns, rollovers, buyers fees, and payouts with flexible payout options. Consigned inventory are received using the
button on the main menu. The consigning vendor type must be flagged as a 'C' type vendor. The consignment window functions are similar to the "Buy" window functions except there are no immediate payout options.Consignment Vendor options... markdowns, rollovers, override payout percentage, etc. must be set on the Vendor update screen.
Defaults for consignment options at the store level, markdown percentages, periods, buyer fees, etc. must be set from the Consignment tab on the System Maintenance screen displayed below..
